Old age is a time which slows down the movement of your body. During this time, you are no longer active as you were earlier. There is a considerable reduction in functioning of even your brain cells. But, according to a recent study, playing bingo games is a boon for old age people. The people can remain active by playing bingo games thus warding off the possibility of any health related problems. Keeping yourself active socially (includes playing Bingo games) does reduce the chances of getting disabled in the old age by two thirds. Even the doctors agree to this fact and advice their patients to be active.
The study was conducted over 96 elderly patients spanned over a period of 5 years. It said that, staying active in old age reduces the risk of disability by 65% and death by 40%. This shows that you are fit even at this age, physically as well as mentally and there is a less chance of you getting in contact with any health related risks. Thus, you tend to live longer and healthier. This does not exclude the old people from getting the old age benefits. That is, they are still entitled to get old age benefits in regard to good health.
Conclusion: The findings conclude that a person should remain active even in his old age in order to be healthy and keep himself away from getting disabled as far as possible.
